Inside the studio

Most of it happens
on a table.

Samples get argued over in daylight before anything is specified, and furniture is drawn by hand before it is drawn to scale.

How we decide

Four arguments
we always have.

These are the positions we will push back on you about. Everything else — colour, style, how traditional or how modern — is yours to decide, and we will draw it either way.

Light before finishes

We plan where daylight lands and where every lamp sits before a single material is chosen. An ordinary surface in good light will beat an expensive one in bad light, every time, and it costs a fraction.

Storage is the design

Most interiors fail because nobody counted what had to go in them. We measure what you actually own — the suitcases, the mixer, the stock cartons, the spare chairs — and design storage for that, not for a render.

Build for the fifth year

Coastal humidity lifts veneer and swells MDF; Gulf heat and dust punish anything with a cheap mechanism. We specify for how a space looks after five years in its own climate, not on handover day.

Detail where it is touched

Budget goes to the handles, the edges, the switch plates and the places a hand lands. Nobody strokes a false ceiling. They do open that drawer four times a day.
